Writing:  We will be writing Gripping Fictional stories!

Math: Ways to Represent 3 Digit Numbers & Locating Numbers on a Number Line

Social Sciences: We will be learning about the different Energy Sources: Lig
ht, Heat & Sound

Picture retakes will be on November 30th!  If your child was absent for the original date, please plan for them to take their picture so that we have it for the yearbook! 

If your child already had their picture taken but you do not like the original, the photographers have said that it would be helpful to bring back your original day packet as this makes reordering easier!

Family Friday Lunch! One more left this semester! 

No Family Friday on December 9th or 16th!

PLEASE talk with your child in the morning before school to let them know if you are coming to the lunch or if you're not able to make it. So many students are waiting for their parents because they just aren't sure. It would be so helpful if you chatted with them in the morning so they have the full time to eat their lunch! :) Thank you!! 

In the effort to get everybody quickly signed in to the building, we are needing you to fill out this form ASAP if you are planning to come. All dates for the first semester Family Fridays are on this form.  You can sign up for as many as you'd like.

Dear Austin Families,

Veterans Day is November 11th. We are looking forward to having a celebration for all of our Austin family veterans!

We would love to invite veterans in your family or extended family to attend our Austin Veterans Day Assembly. During the celebration, we will honor the in-person veterans that attend. We will also honor those who cannot attend by hanging their photo and service information. If you or someone in your family is a veteran, please complete the attached form HERE and send your photo by Wednesday, November 9th. We would love to hang your service information and photo whether you can attend the celebration or not.

If you are able to join us on November 11th, please RSVP for the Austin Veterans Day Assembly by November 9th, 2022 by going to tinyurl.com/AustinVeterans22 . You can also obtain a copy of the Honored Veterans Template there as well. The assembly will be held on November 11th at 8:00am. Please arrive by 7:45am to allow time for parking and signing in at the office. We will have a breakfast reception for our Veterans following the assembly.
