PLEASE send your child with a water bottle every day to school!!! 

We are going to go outside even for 10-15 minutes. The kids are of course really thirsty. They are always allowed to go fill up their bottles, but we are asking for them to come full to school each day! Thank you!!

Library Days: 

2A and 2B go to the library on MONDAYS

2C and 2D go to the library on THURSDAYS

A 2nd grade student is chosen each week for showing qualities of our Character Trait of the Month! This is where we will post the picture of the 2nd Grade Mustang of the Week. 

This will begin in September!!

EVERYDAY in 2nd Grade, your child will need to bring:

• Take Home Folder (This will be brought home on the 1st day)

• Ipad- FULLY CHARGED 

* All students from Austin took their school ipad home in May. Please bring back to school on Tuesday! If you are new to CoppellISD, your child will recieve a school ipad to use for school use, it will stay here at school**

• Lunch (if they are not buying from school) 

• Water bottle (label with name & section (2A, 2B, 2C or 2D)

• A healthy dry snack (we will eat at a time that works for the class)

*In 2nd grade, we still ask you to send in a change of clothes for your child to keep in their cubby for the school year in case we may need it*

Your child needs to wear tennis shoes when they have PE days.

If you haven’t already, please send your child’s school supplies to school as soon as possible.

First Day Newsletter

It was wonderful to meet so many of you on Meet the Teacher Thursday night. We can't wait for the first day TOMORROW!! Parents can walk their child down to the classroom on the first day starting at 7:20am.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher!
