Wear Blue to Stomp Out Bulling on October 2nd

 

October is National Bullying Prevention Month! CISD is participating in the World Day of Bullying Prevention which is Monday, October 2nd. CISD is partnering by asking staff, students, and the community to #BeKind and #BlueUp on #BlueShirtDay on Monday, October 2nd by wearing blue that day.  Join us in helping to prevent bullying and promote kindness! 

Each year, families can choose to purchase the Device Protection Plan for the ipad that is issued to their learner for the year.  You can information about this plan on this district website: https://www.coppellisd.com/o/cisd/page/device-protection-plan

You will be prompted to pay for it on Schoolpay: https://www.schoolpay.com/login/

Once you are in Schoolpay, scroll down until you see iPad- Device Protection Plan 2023-2024  (There is a  separate Family Plan option for anyone whose family plans would exceed $100.)

Reminder: 

Thursday October 5th is Early Release at 12:30! 

Friday October 6th - NO SCHOOL 

Monday October 9th- NO SCHOOL

Interested in learning with other parents through a parent book study? This year, Austin Elementary and Town Center Elementary are partnering up to host a parent book study focusing on the book, "How to Talk So Kids Will Listen, and Listen So Kids Will Talk" by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. We will meet each Wednesday starting October 4^th through November 15^th  from 5:00-6:00 pm.  Registration is open from now until September 22^nd or until supplies last. Our Mustang of the Week was Robin Bay from 2C! She was chosen for perfecting the character trait of the month "Integrity". Robin always follows directions and continues to do so even when nobody is watching. Robin is a very kind friend who models being safe and respectful at all times! Way to go, Robin!!
