December 8th

During our 2nd grade class parties on December 14th, our class will be celebrating the holiday season by having a fun mug exchange.  Each student will go home with a brand new holiday mug!  To make this possible, we are asking each student to bring a holiday themed mug!

EACH MUG MUST:

  • be brand new and never used
  • cost less than $5
  • appeal to both boys and girls
  • be wrapped without a tag attached

You can find inexpensive holiday mugs at a variety of places including Target, Walmart and Dollar Stores.  Please have your child bring this gift to school no later than Wednesday, December 13th.

We are excited for your child to participate in this celebration.  If this is a hardship for your family, please let me know and we will provide a mug for your child.

We thank you in advance for your support and wish you a happy holiday season!

We still need volunteers for our 2nd Grade Winter Party Sign Up!

Pranav is a kind friend to all in 2nd grade. He is always aware of how others are feeling and tries to comfort them if he can. He is always down to help his teacher or a friend if needed. We are so lucky to have a friend like Pranav in 2C!

Customs/Holidays Quilt Project

If you have not turned in your holiday quilt square, please do so ASAP! This is a wonderful opportunity to chat with your child about the holidays/customs you celebrate as a family!! Your child will then present their square to the class. We hope you enjoy this project!
