Kingston Herman from 2C!

Kingston is great at pushing through hard tasks and continuing to give effort even when he is frustrated! He not only shows grit academically, but socially as well. Kingston is a friend to all and shows up to school with a positive attitude every day. We are so lucky to have Kingston in 2C!

STEAM NIGHT

We are excited about our upcoming STEAM night on March 28.  During that event, we would like to highlight the many jobs and careers that are represented by Austin families. We are creating a slideshow to be displayed during the event that celebrates how we use Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math in the workplace.  If you would like to contribute to this slideshow, please fill out the form below by March 19.   We are asking for a few details about your career and an image if you have one to share.

MEGAN RIGSBY- 2B

Megan is the definition of grit! She faces challenges each and every day, and gives her full effort in all areas at school. Whether it be a hard math problem, or a new book in reading group, she always tells herself "I can do this". She is not afraid to try something new and has realized that hard work pays off. I have never seen Megan give up, and I believe she will continue her determination and be a leader for grit for years to come!

Aryahi Seth - 2A

Aryahi just joined our 2A family a few weeks ago and already has shown so much grit and determination! She has quickly picked up on our class and school expectations and sets a good example for her peers. She also showed grit at our Rollerskating field trip where she tried hard to learn a new skill! Way to go Aryahi, we are so proud of you!
