Note from the Office Staff: 

On Friday, September 8th, we will celebrate Grandparents' and Specials Friends' Day!  Each K-5 student may have 1-2 special guests attend lunch on this day. To reserve a place, each guest needs to complete this form prior to noon on Thursday, September 7.  

 
To ensure that all students and guests are safe, we need to scan everyone's driver's license into our Raptor Safety System.  To minimize wait time, your learner's Grandparent/Special Friend may come to Austin between 8:00-2:00 any day before September 7 to scan their ID into our system. We will be able to pre-print their badge for the 8th. 
 
If your Grandparent/Special friend is unable to come prior to September 7 to scan their ID, please have them plan to arrive 20 minutes early for the scheduled lunch to ensure we have time to do so. No one will be able to enter the school without a physical copy of their driver's license or passport.
 
When arriving for lunch, please plan to wait in your car or outside the school building until the lunch time starts. We will not have anyone waiting in the hallways to ensure a safe environment. 
 
Guests may bring lunch to share with their learner or purchase a lunch in the cafeteria.   Adult lunches are $4. 
 
Lunch times are:
 Kinder - 10:30-11:00
1st - 11:00-11:30
2nd - 11:30- 12:00
 3rd - 12:00-12:30
 4th - 12:30-1:00
 5th - 1:00-1:30

PLEASE send your child with a water bottle every day to school!!! 

We are going to go outside even for 10-15 minutes. The kids are of course really thirsty. They are always allowed to go fill up their bottles, but we are asking for them to come full to school each day! Thank you!!

• September 4th- NO SCHOOL- LABOR DAY 
• September 7th- Curriculum Night - Two sessions to choose from! (5:00-5:40 and 5:50-6:30)
• September 8th- Grandparent/Special Friend Day ("Grandfriend Day) 
• October 13th- Family Friday Lunch begins
