FRIDAY, MARCH 1st- PLEASE READ!! We are getting so excited about our field trip - it's only ONE WEEK away!! We have been in contact and have gotten some more information from Interskate that answers some of your biggest questions. Please see below:1. If you are attending the field trip as a chaperone, your student is welcome to bring their own skates. Due to limited space, please bring them with you, rather than sending them with your child to school.2. For Chaperones- Students will get to and from Interskate on the bus. We ask that parents arrange their own transportation to meet us there because parents are not allowed to ride the bus. Please plan to meet us at Interskate Lewisville at 10:00am. You will need to get a visitor's badge from your child's teacher upon arrival. If you have not completed the background check, we will not have a badge for you and you will not be able to attend. Please make sure this is taken care of! Also, your $10 does not cover a pizza lunch. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch for yourself, or you may wait to eat until after the Field Trip! Our trip is from 10:00am -1:00pm.3. The $16 you paid at registration includes a pizza lunch. If your child does not want pizza, they will be responsible for bringing their own disposable lunch. They may also bring a water bottle with them if they choose. Please let me know if you have any other questions. We will send another reminder next week We can't wait to skate!

2nd Grade Musical
2nd Grade Musical is March 5th at 5:30pm! If your child has a speaking line, they brought home a paper with their line and when their line comes into play. Below is the note Mr. B sent home a couple weeks ago about the musical.

Sawyer Saucido- 2D
Sawyer is a very thoughtful and kind student. He is always thinking of others. He comes in to our classroom each day with a genuine smile on his face. He cleans up messes he didn't make, holds the door open without being asked and always uses great manners. 2D is so lucky to have such a kind friend in our class!
