2nd Grade Musical
2nd Grade Musical is March 5th at 5:30pm! If your child has a speaking line, they brought home a paper with their line and when their line comes into play. Below is the note Mr. B sent home a couple weeks ago about the musical.

Our district Occupational Therapist recently sent us some tips and tricks to support students' learning for shoe tying at home. Shoe tying is best taught through task-oriented repetition which means, it is practiced a lot 🙂
- Start practicing with the shoe on a tabletop or in your child's lap instead of flat on the floor. Once you child has mastered it this way, allow him to practice while wearing the shoe. Help him practice from his viewpoint by sitting behind him.
- Practice with thicker laces first - It may be helpful to use stiff, thick laces.
- Allow your child to master each step before proceeding onto the next step. If you're in a rush to get out the door, it may help to ask your child to complete the first two steps (making an X with his laces and making a cross tie) and then receiving assistance with the last steps to complete shoe tying.
- Be consistent with practice and the chosen method for shoe tying.
- Practice on a daily basis without rushing.
