We are SO excited for 2nd Grade's Poetry Cafe on Thursday, February 6th.  Parents are welcome to join us in the cafeteria to hear your child read their poems from 8:30-9:00. 

 If you would like to attend, please fill out the google form so that you can skip the check in process on the day of Poetry Cafe! So far, we only have 28 families signed up to attend!  https://forms.gle/jQj44peqbzayvHEcA

On the day of the event, please have your child wear a white top and black bottoms (skirt, pants, shorts) to complete the server look!

It's hard to believe we are at the time of the year to be planning for another classroom party. Our Valentine's Party is just around the corner! You're welcome to come attend on February 13th at 2:00pm.

Austin Families!! Join your Austin PTO as we show our appreciation for our SOUPer staff this coming Thursday (February 6th) by providing our annual SOUPer Bowl Lunch Competition!!

Please send your child with a jacket every day with this cold weather! We know Texas weather is unpredictable so it's nice to be prepared! Please write your child's name on the tag so we know who it belongs to if they are left outside. Thank you!

 TraMy from 2B!

TraMy is a a true role model in our classroom for self-control. Whether it is waiting patiently in line, walking nicely down the hall, or showing excellent listening skills during lessons- she consistently shines! During independent work, I never have to remind her of the expectations or to ask her to stay on task. She knows when it's time to be silly, and when it's time to work hard. She is a quiet leader, but she's easily one that sticks out for me as a queen of self-control. We love you, TraMy!
